This Privacy Policy explains how Lose To Gain (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website, our coaching services, and the Lose To Gain Community Accelerator application (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who We Are

Lose To Gain is an online fitness and nutrition coaching service based in Bangladesh. We operate a community fitness program and a coaching platform accessible at app.losetogainbd.com. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at info@losetogainbd.com.

2. Information We Collect

Account information

When you sign up using Google or Facebook Login, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from that provider. We do not receive or store your social media password. If you sign up by phone, we collect your phone number; in some cases an email address may not be available.

Health and fitness information you provide

To deliver personalised plans and track your progress, we collect information you choose to enter, which may include:

Body metrics such as weight, height, age, gender, and body measurements
Goals, dietary preferences, food dislikes, and allergies
Daily check-in data: weight, sleep hours, water intake, exercise minutes, diet adherence, mood, and energy levels
Progress notes and any messages you send us

Usage and activity information

We collect information generated as you use the Service, such as your daily logs, streaks, points, generated diet plans, and leaderboard activity.

Technical information

We automatically collect limited technical data such as device type, browser, and basic usage analytics, and we use cookies and similar technologies needed to keep you logged in and to operate the Service.

3. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account and authenticate you
To generate personalised diet and fitness plans
To track your daily progress, streaks, and points
To operate the monthly leaderboard and community features
To identify consistent participants who may be invited into paid coaching
To send you service-related notifications and reminders
To improve and maintain the Service and keep it secure

4. Logging In With Facebook and Google

We use Facebook Login and Google Sign-In to let you create an account without a separate password. When you authenticate, the provider shares your basic public profile and email address with us so we can set up and identify your account. We only request the minimum information needed (your public profile and email). We do not post to your social accounts or access your contacts, friends list, or other data.

The Community Accelerator includes a public monthly leaderboard and shareable progress cards. Please be aware that:

Your display name (or a community ID) and your points may be visible to other participants on the leaderboard.
Progress summary cards you choose to generate and share are created at your initiative. Weight figures are only included if you opt in.

You control whether you share these cards. Information you make public through these features may be seen by others.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with trusted service providers who help us operate the Service, and only as needed to provide it:

Supabase — database, authentication, and storage
Vercel — application hosting
Resend — transactional and notification emails
Google and Meta (Facebook) — login authentication

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and our service.

7. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you ask us to delete your account, we will remove your personal data as described in our Data Deletion Instructions, except where we are required to keep certain records to comply with legal obligations.

8. Your Rights and Choices

You may:

Access and update the information in your account
Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
Request deletion of your account and personal data — see our Data Deletion Instructions
Disconnect Facebook or Google by removing our app’s access in your provider’s account settings

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and limit access to it.

10. International Data Transfer

We are based in Bangladesh, and our service providers may store and process your information on servers located in other countries. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in locations outside your own country.

11. Children’s Privacy

The Service is intended for adults aged 18 and over. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes may also be communicated through the Service.
